Waste containers must be properly sealed using its intended screw-top lid or cap (e.g., not parafilm or stoppered container). When properly sealed, wastes should not be able to leak from the container when placed on its side or accidentally tipped over. Containers intended for solid materials should not be used for liquid chemical wastes.
